Activites conducted to enable a resistance or insurgency to coerce, disrupt, or over throw a government or occupying power, by operating through or with an underground auxiliary and guriella force in a denied area.

Partner- mutually conducted operations with the USG. Influenced not controlled by the USG.
Surrogate-straight up paid by USG it is employed by the USG and controlled by USG elements
Puprose of SF in a large scale conflict?
Prep the environment for introduction of conventional forces

Main effort, keep USG sognature small
