Urinary tract has a mucin layer, lined by urothelium- a mucosal layer that secretes mucin.
Causes of UTIS
obstruction, catheters, sexual intercourse, diabetes and urethroversical reflux- when urine moves back into the bladder via coughing, sneezing or when voiding is stopped abruptly.
