What’s a virus?

A

A malicious computer program hidden inside another program. Can replicate itself and insert itself into other files to be passed on.

What’s spyware?

A

Malware that often comes packaged with other (often free) software without the user’s knowledge. It spies by sending screenshots and key presses to the hacker.
