Language that includes descriptions that create tangible images.

Vague and obscure language, requires imagination.

Language that is familiar to the audience.
Why is familiar language important?
Your message is more likely to have impact.
Why is unfamiliar language alienating to an audience?
It shows the space between writer and reader, and can make the message difficult to understand.

Precise and clear language prevents misinterpretations in your writing.

Delivering a negative message in a positive manner.
