what are proxemics

A

refers to how close individuals are physically
it’s polite to allow people their personal space but when using BSL remember than you have to be close enough to see clearly, etc.

prodemixs can indicate emotion + relationship
close with frown, tensed muscles = angry
further away = emotional distance/disinterest

not doing so can lead to confusion and misunderstandings
it’s also polite and shows interest
