Why is life on earth dependent on water?
Life on Earth is dependent on water because it sustains biodiversity on land and in water through minerals for fishes and supporting many habitats.
What are the main uses of water for humans?
It is essential for many domestic purposes like drinking, cooking(boiling steaming, simmering food) cleaning to maintain hygiene. recreational purposes and linear plantations along roads to avoid soil erosion.
what are the uses of water in irrigation?
TO GROW CROPS AND IN MAKING AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS LIKE FERTILISERS PESTICIDES INSECTICIDES
What are the industrial uses of water?
to generate electricity, making iron and steel, chemicals, medicined textiles leather processing of food etc
is fog not the same as humidity?
no humidity means the amount of water vapour in the air you cant see it but is like a cloud near the ground it is made of tiny drops of water so you can see it

from rivers mainly from the indus river system(65%)

where does the water from mountains come from
glaciers melt snow melt rainfall and runoff from mountains some also comes from below the ground this is water that has soaked into ground and collected in aquifiers

pumps and wells bring water up to the surface pipelines carry water from reservoirs to cities towns and some villaged pipelines and canals carry water from reservoirs and storage tanks to fields for irrigation
