Oh, that’s not something I’ve ever given any thought to, but off the top of my head… I guess that there might be a large percentage of the elderly who do not use it. Moreover, in certain parts of the world, they may not yet have internet access. As for the drawbacks of this… the internet is a huge resource, like a mobile library, that you can tap into whenever and wherever you like so this is definitely a handicap for those without it.

Why do some people refuse to eat animals?

Well, by and large, I guess there are three fundamental reasons.
Firstly, certain religions such as Buddhism imply that the eating of animals is wrong.
Secondly, some consider it morally unacceptable to kill animals for food.
And finally, health conscious individuals refrain from eating meat because it is considered bad for health.

Oh, that’s not something I’ve ever considered before, but my gut feeling is that it probably has. I know that it could be argued that we spend far too much time on electronic gadgets and do not interact with our families as much as before; however, we can keep in touch with people who live further afield whereas in the past we might have lost touch with them.
