  • Israeli American philanthropist, and doctor.
  • Married Sheldon in 1991 (2nd husband) and has since become a prominent Republican Party donor. People say she runs the political show and he listens to whatever she says.
  • Founder of Dr. Miriam & Sheldon Adelson Clinic for Drug Abuse Treatment; Research in Las Vegas.

Alberto Gonzales, Attorney General at the time, blocked Justice Dept lawyers from investigating because the Bush admin needed her to support their warrantless wiretapping program that got exposed later (she never got charged, but Pelosi denied her to chair the House intelligence committee although she was in line).

They protested Irani’s salary which was major (his compensation exceeded Rex Tillerson of Exxon Mobil, lots of scandal with that).
  • Served on boards of the American Petroleum Institute, Kaufman and Broad Home Corporation, The Wynn Resorts, member of the U.S.-Russian Business Council, the Los Angeles Town Hall and the Los Angeles World Affairs Council.
  • Donated $20 million toward the residential college at USC Village named after him & mom.

  • Philanthropist. The fourth wife of her late husband is Alfred Mann, a physicist, inventor, entrepreneur (lots of aerospace work).
  • Born during WWII in a Berlin concentration camp but escaped back to France. She is Catholic though, but her father, a diplomat, was active in the French Resistance and went to jail for hiding Jews from the Nazi’s.
  • Received lots of awards & sits on boards related to Jewish causes (Alfred is a jew).
