One effective response to social and economic inequality that has been effective is the affordable healthcare act
The Affordable healthcare act was introduced by Barack Obama and the purpose of this act was to give millions of people access to healthcare

Give an example for SNAP being ineffective
One reason ineffective response to social and economic inequality is the Supplementary Nutritionist Assistance Programme(SNAP)
SNAP is known to provide low income or no income Americans support to purchase food however this is ineffective because it doesnt cover all the grocery costs
It doesn’t cover all the grocery costs
-only 1/3rd of what people need for food a month

Another effective response to social and economic inequalities is Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
This is effective because it let’s children who are considered illegal immigrants stay within the US and these children can access healthcare, University and higher paid jobs
Dreamers (illegal immigrants) saw almost 70 percent increase in wages which boosted the US economy -

In the USA,African Americans are less likely to vote
“In 2018,50 percent of African Americans voted and in the same year,65 percent was white that voted”
In the USA ,less educated people are less likely to vote
“In 2018,only 27 percent who didn’t complete high school turned out to vote but 75 percent with a post graduate degree voted”
