Share for wealth- took money from the rich to the poor
Pension- gave money to the poor so they could quite there jobs
How did lend lease and WW2 help the US economy?
USA send food and weapons to Britain and Russia
Created jobs in USA factories and farms

New deal cut employment from 25% to 14%
CCC- gave young men skills and experience
TVA- created 200,000 jobs

People went to the cinema to escape from the misery of the great depression

Before they were housewives and now could become nurses in the army
