the seperate but equal case was still forced strongly in the south and integration was not supported
rosa parks- got arrested for not giving up seat on bus to a white guy in 1955 lead to the montgomery bus boycott which lasted longer than her trial and then buses were officially de-segregated in 1956.

little rock 9- black kids join all white school, one little girl called elizabeth eckfordshowed up on her own and faced lots of harrassment and verbal abuse arriving at the school from a white mob of parents
