the US, to lead the armed forces
and keep the US safe, to select judges to sit
on the Supreme Court, to sign bills passed bu congress into law and to run the Federal Government and spend the money
given to it by Congress.

Obama was key to getting world powers like China and India to sign up to the Paris Climate Agreement to help try
and prevent climate change.
Donald Trump stopped any aid being
given to many charities that supported women around the world. They lost their funding if they passed on any information to women about abortions.
Donald Trump cut US funding to the World Health Organisation in April 2020 at a time it was trying to help the world cope saying it was too close to China.

In 2020, despite the USA killing one of its top
leaders, Iran did not declare war on the USA.
The USA has 11 aircraft carriers. It closets rivals are China (2), Russia (1), France (1) and the UK (1 with a 2 nd under construction).
The USA spends more on its military than the next 10 countries combined
In 2019 the USA killed the leader of Daesh (ISIS) in Syria without the permission of the
Syrian Government to be there.

LGBT+ people have an unemployment rate of 9% (almost double that of non LGBT People)
they have a poverty rate of 22% compared to non LGBT people.
they are more likely to suffer poor health because of discrimination (In 2017 it was found that 8% of LGB people and 29% of trans people had been refused care (including the children of LGBT people))
