Us government history (1e alinea)

A

When we think of power in the us we usually think of the president but he doesn’t act alone. In fact he’s only 1 piece of the power puzzle and for very good reason. When the American revolution ended in 1783 the us government was in a state of change. The founding fathers knew that they didn’t want to establish their country that was ruled by a king. The discussions were centered on having a strong and fair national government that protected individual freedoms and not abuse its power. When the new constitution was adopted in 1787, the structure of the us government was called for 3 separate branches. Each with their own powers and a system off checks and balances. This would insure that a branch would never get too powerful. Because the other branches were always be able to check the power of the other 2. These branches work together to lead the country and set guidelines for us all to live by.

Q

4e alinea

A

In conclusion, the three branches of the American government works-and this system has worked for more than 200 years. The system of checks and balances is by no means perfect, as seen in how President vetoes some bills that Congress is unwilfingto pass. This, of course, creates mistrust amongthe various branches, in turn preventing effective cooperation between the departments of the government. Nonetheless, as time goes on, this system will evolve and will one day become the common way governments all around thet world will run. it equates to happy citizens who make up a happy, successful and self-preserving society.
