TeraGOsin- gets patients peeing
TeraSLOWsin- orthostatic hypotension
MOA: relaxes smooth muscle
Caution with BP meds and Viagra
SE: orthostatic hypotension and headache
Okay with grapefruit

Oxybutynin - indication and precautions

A

OxyButynin- an ox on my bladder
MOA: dries body
Calms overactive bladder, neurogenic bladder, bladder antony
ADR: if no peeing alert HCP, Low bp
SE: can’t see, can’t pee, can’t spit, can’t shit
Admin:
No atropine in patients with glaucoma
No for BPH or bowel obstruction
Use artificial saliva and sugar free candy for dry mouth
Drink fluids, keep bowels going
