What is a satellite town?
Smaller town areas located near to larger city areas.
Explain the term Central Business District.
It is the busiest part of the city where people go to work and shop. It is in the centre of the city and stores prefer to locate there be ause they are close to the customers.
List 4 solutions for traffic congestion:
Improve public transport.
Creating bus lanes.
Building a metro.
Expensive car parking.
Why are land values so high in the CBD?
Land is used intensively full of offices, many shops… it is also connected to the main roads.
Where are most of the older houses located and what are they called?
Most of them are located in the centre because houses were built in a certain place and then they started building them outwards. These houses are called period homes.
