Increase of population, immigration, migration within city and rural to urban migration

A
Urban sprawl, urban decay, urban renewal + redevelopment, new towns

A
A town where a large percentage of the population leaves the town to work elsewhere

What are negative effects of urban sprawl?
A
Valuable farmland being used for building purposes, old villages lose identity and become part of city, large suburbs are souless places which are empty by day when inhabitants are at work.
