Land value decreases further away from CBD

Refers to spatial structure and organisation of an urban area
Cultural and heritage headquarters
Focus on history and character of a city e.g. museums, art galleries
Edge city
New areas of offices, shops and leisure facilities that develop close to transport
Fortress landscapes
These are developments with lots of security such as CCTV, guards and high walls
Post modern western city
Areas moving away from uniformity in architecture and patterns of land use
Town centre mixed developments
Areas in cities where land use is mixed e.g luxury flats, offices and entertainment facilities
