Knee- EXT
Ankle- DF
Nerve: Sciatic nerve and Tibial nerve
SLR2 (TED)
Position and Nerve
Hip-FLX
knee- EXT
Ankle- DF
Foot- EV
Nerve: Tibial Nerve
SLR3 (SID)
Position and Nerve
Hip- FLX
Knee- EXT
Ankle- DF
Foot- IV
Nerve: Sural nerve
SLR4 (PIP)
Position and Nerve
Hip- FLX and IR
Knee- EXT
Ankle- PF
Foot IV
Nerve: Common peroneal nerve
Cross SLR (well Leg)
Assess
Nerve root (disc prolapse)
Bilateral SLR
Examiner: lifts both of the legs by flexing the pts hips until the pt complains of pain or tightnes. Becuase both legs are lifted the pelvis is not stabilized, so on hip FLX the pelvis is freer to rotate, therby decreasing the stress on the neurological tissue.
- if the test causes pain before 70dg of hip FLX= Sacroiliac joints
- if the test causes pain after 70dg of hip FLX= lumbar spine area
Slump Test 2
test for what nerve bias?
Obturator
Slumpt Test 3 (side lying)
test for what nerve bias?
Femoral nerve
Long sitting Slump test (ST4)
test for
Spinal cord, cervical and lumbar nerve roots, sciatic nerve
