Senior Considerations:
May need assistance undressing and gowning, and with mobility
Do seated if possible
Extend table top over patient’s lab
Elevate table top to shoulder height or raise cassette on sponges
Pediatric Considerations:
Minimize exposure to patient: little bodies more susceptible to exposure damage, do it right the first time, limit number of views in a series
Motion control is challenging: enlist the help of the parents (emotionally and physically)
