• midway point over anterior ankle between tibialis anterior tendon and lateral malleolus
• navicular tuberosity
• base of 5th metatarsal
• inferior tip of the medial malleolus

Question 3

What do we measure?

Answer 3

• place 0 over anterior aspect of ankle
• pull tape medially over navicular tuberosity
• then pull inferolaterally across the medial arch to proximal aspect of the base of the 5th metatarsal
• pull superiorly and medially over the tarsal bones and across the inferior aspect of the medial malleolus
• and posteriorly around the achilles tendon over the distal lateral malleolus to finish at 0 point
• measure and record!
