First rebellion Easter 1486
Led by Viscount Lovell and Humphrey Stafford.
Lovell tried to raise a rebellion in North Riding of Yorkshire
Stafford tried to raise forces in the Midlands
Lovell escaped from the Kings forces but Stafford was caught though his younger brother Thomas was pardoned
Lambert Simnel and rebllion of Earl of LIncon
Figure head of the rebellion was Lambert Simnel who was being passed as the Earl of Warwick and conspiracy put together by John de la Pole.
They persuaded Margaret of Burgundy to send mercenary forces.
Henry had plenty of notice about the rebellion and reinstated Duke of Northumberland to power in the North, but took risk as he was key under Richard III
