Univers Technologique Flashcards
what are the lines in a technical drawing? what do they look like? what are they for?
- ligne de contour visible (straight, bold line) - indicate contours and visible details of the object.
- ligne de contour cache (dotted lines) - indicate hidden contours and details of an object
-ligne d’axe (line in the middle,) - indicates the symmetry of an object - ligne de cotes (continuous line with arrows) - indicates the limit of a segment
-ligne d’attache (two small lines) - indicates extremities of the ‘ligne de cotes’
what is an ‘echelle a grandeur reelle’?
dimensions are at the object’s real measurements (exp: 1:1)
what is an ‘echelle en agrandissement’?
dimensions of real object are increased in drawing (exp: 2:1)
what is an ‘echelle en reduction’?
dimensions of real object are reduced in drawing (exp: 1:2)
what are the 5 mechanical functions
- liaison
- guidage
- lubrification
- support
- etanchite
what is a liaison?
keeps two pieces together (nail)
what is a guidage?
guides an object in a movement (rails)
what is lubrification?
substance that lessens friction (oil)
what is an etanchite?
am organ that stops a fluid from escaping
what is a support?
a part that permits another part to move well
what are the three parts of a mechanism?
- organe moteur
- organe recepteur
- organe intermediaire
what is an organe moteur?
part of the system where force is applied
what is an organe intermediaire
part of a system where force is applied
what is an organe recpeteur?
receives the mouvement
what is an organe intermediaire?
part of a system that communicates the action of an organe moteur onto the organe receveur
what is a reversible mechanism?
when the organe moteur and the organe receveur can switch and the mechanism will still function
what are the five different systems of TRANSMISSION? also, are they reversible or not?
- l’engrenage/system a roues dentees (reversible)
- la chaine et les roues dentees (reversible)
- la roue et la vis sans fin (non reversible)
- les roues de friction (reversible)
- la courie et les poulies (reversible)
what are the five different systems of TRANSFORMATION? also, are they reversible or not?
- pignon et creamlier (reversible)
- vis ecrou (non reversible)
- le systeme came et tige-guidee (non reversible)
- le system bielle-manivelle (reversible)
what are the 5 properties of a material?
- durete
- ductilie
- malleabilite
- elasticite
- resistance a la corrosion (rouille)
what is durete?
capacity to resist deformation when penetrated by a hard body
what is ducilite?
capacity to be stretched without rupturing from a force of traction
what is malleabilite?
capacity to bend without breaking and staying in that form
