What is a unitary system?
A unitary system is a within which all power/authority is concentrated to the central/national government and all levels are seen as subordinates to the central/national government. Final decision making is the responsibility of the central/national government. The sub-national may make or implement policies but only under the watchful eye of the central/national government. Furthermore when a state is referred to as a unitary system it is implied that all sovereign( constitutional authority) is vested into the central/national government.
Advantages
The unitary system is a single and decisive legislative and it is easy to management the economy
Disadvantages
Under the unitary system they may be a slow response in government for example if an emergency occured, the troops can only be sent out by the central/national government
Unitary systems may easily loose track of local issues
A unitary system is bureaucratic

United kingdom,Japan and Sweden
