and speaker.
Physical barriers
This happens when a person believes he or she understood
what the speaker means even before the message is completely expressed. It
can also happen when the receiver immediately judges the message as
unimportant.
Prejudging
This happens when one gives too much information
at a time.
Information overload
This happens when a person gives
information that does not interest others or a person does not give attention to
either the speaker or his or her message.
Lack of interest and attention
mental or emotional blocks that can hinder the
exchange of ideas or messages between people. These barriers can stem from a
variety of sources, including personal experiences, emotions, perceptions, and
attitudes
