The trade route that connected the east to the west exchanging cultures, ideas, goods and technologies

The schools that were set up to “ kill the Indian in the child”

The process where indegnous assert their rights to land and the resources on it based on treaties

Where a nation extends its power, and influence the acquisition, territories dominance in the establishment of colonies

 The belief that European ways and culture are the only way
