2. Truth can be hidden when doing so may be dangerous or destructive
3. Truth can be hidden when it breaks a confidence

God’s truth is revealed to us in scripture and in creation but most of all in Jesus. Jesus reveals that the truth will set us free.

You shall not steal calls us to be honest and demands that we give others all that is due to them for example: giving what we promised giving high-quality work to those who pay us etc. Breaking the seventh commandment includes taking and keeping our neighbor’s goods or wrong in our neighbor in any way

When we are untruthful it hurts and insults the dignity of others ourselves and God.
