Cellular respiration is the process of Metabolizing to store energy in the form of ATP

Voice box( contains vocal cords, glottis, that vibrate with expelled air)

Respiratory membrane; the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide

Is the force the blood exerts against the walls of our blood vessels
Systole
Atria are relaxed, the chambers are filling with blood again
Diastole
It is the relaxation of the ventricles
Artery
It carries blood away the heart, it is oxygenated blood so it is red
Vein
It carries blood towards the heart it is deoxygenated so it is blue
Capillaries
It connects the Arteries and veins. The location of gas, nutrient, and waste exchange( bad stuff leaves the blood)
Plasma
It is the clear yellowish fluid portion of the blood. It makes up to 55% of the blood and it is made of 90% water
Red blood cells
The most numerous of the blood cells, they are produced in bone marrow. The blood cells contain a red colored protein called hemoglobin. The hemoglobin is responsible for the transport of oxygen.
Platelets
Platelets collect and stick to a cut blood vessel. They are responsible for clotting in blood
Leukocytes ( white blood cells)
Produced in bone marrow and in lymph nodes. Important to the immune system.
Neuron
The basic unit of the nervous system. Nerve cells
