chiropodist, physiotherapy, occupational therapist & social worker.
physiotherapist
someone who treats people using physiotherapy
health professional
a person trained to work in any field of physical or mental health.
/a person who helps in identifying or preventing or treating illness or disability.
manipulate
to control sth using the hands.
/treat patient by skillful use of the hands, as in palpation, reduction of dislocation or changing the position of a fetus.
prosthetist
a person who provides artificial replacements for patients who have had an amputation or were born without a limb
occupational therapist
a way of treating mentally or physically ill ppl by getting them to do special activities
blind
unable to see
rehabilitation
to restore to good health or useful life, as through therapy & education
deaf
unable to hear, either completely or partly
social worker
a person who works for the social service or for a private organization providing help & spp for ppl who need it
parademic
a person who is trained to do medical work, esp in an emergency, but is not a doctor or a nurse
artificial limb
a type of prosthesis that replace a missing extremity such as arms or legs
artificial replacement
refers to the surgery of the real parts of the body & replace by the unreal organs of the body (heart, limb, teeth…)
technician
one whose occupation requires training in a specific technical process.
splint
a long flat object used as a spp for a broken bone so that the bone stays in a particular position while it heals
deformity
a part of the body has not developed in the normal way or with the normal shape
club foot
a congenial deformity of the foot, usually characterized by a curled shape or a twisted position of the ankle, heel & toes
fracture
a break in a bone
chiropodist
a person whose job is to treat problem & disease of ppl’s feet
diabetes
a disease in which the body can’t control the level of sugar in the blood
Alzheimer’s disease
a disease of the brain that affects esp old ppl, which results in the gradual loss of memory, speech, movement & the ability to think clearly

any of numerous eukaryotic organisms that reproduce by spores
amputation
surgical removal of all or part of a limb, an organ or projecting part or process of the body
what is the meaning of the word optician?
a person who makes and supplies eyeglasses and contact lenses for correction of vision
what is the meaning of the word intraocular pressure?
the fluid pressure of the eye
what is the meaning of the word massage?
technique which is used to treat people by manipulating muscles and joints with the hands
