Observation of wound
Black wounds: dead tissue
Multicolored wounds: described by the worst/least healthy color
Shock
- Caused by major loss of body fluids, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Slows body functions and keeps major organs from functioning properly
Degree of Burns
1st degree: surface burns
2nd degree: deeper/just below the surface, blistering
3rd degree: very deep, destroys surface and underlying tissue

Shakiness, dizziness, sweating, confusion, hunger, headache, pale face
