Q

Explain what happened BEFORE DURING AND AFTER THE PARTITION and what it is

A

the partition is the devision in india and pakistan. They first applied the divide and rule which pitited the indians against each other. But after a while they came together against brittain. They then put the different religions in one government and put the hindoes a higher rank than the muslims. The muslims decided to stand up. The muslims wanted their own state and didnt want slavery. So because by then brittain had already left india in 1947 becase they couldnt rule over all the indians and didnt have enough resources because of the war. Sir Cyral drew the new border between P and I. All the important cities though were given to india. Then came the Great Calcutta Killings where they fought for decades because of the borderline
