Ambient Light
Weak light coming from all directions
that produce no sharp shadows
Candle Power
Unit of measure for Intensity or the amount of light coming from a single candle/light

Flux
a measure of how much light a light source emits and how much of that light is perceived by the human eye

a measure of the intensity of light that is emitted, reflected, or passes through a surface

Absolutely no light passes
through a material
Reflective
Light is bounced off a material
Refraction
transparent material
changes an image (path of light ray bends)
Specular
The reflected image is
maintained (like a mirror)
Translucent
Light passes through a material
but no image is transmitted
Transmission
Light passes through
a material
