What is the difference between wage and salary?
Wage is paid per hour, and does not include paid holiday or sick days.
Salary is paid per month or year, and does include paid holiday or sick days; pay is related to performance; may include perks.

Remuneration is the money paid for work or service.
What does commission mean?

Stock options are the contract giving the buyer the right to buy or sell a stock.
What does to be made redundant mean?
To be laid off or fired.

What is a golden handshake?
It is when a company gives an employee an incentive to resign as they see it to be more profitable for the company; AKA severance payment
What is a lump sum?
One-off payment of annual salary x 2
