to Jobs, Obesity,
Poor posture, Injury
Fracture care
Do not cover or place on hard surface
➢Support with pillows, palms of hands
➢Protect client from rough edges
➢ Keep cast dry
➢ Do not let client scratch under cast
➢ Elevate limb
➢ Report – pain, swelling, pale skin, numbness,
temp change, chills, fever, nausea, vomiting,
odour, drainage
