What is the definition of Republic?
A government led by a president which has been elected.
What is the definition of democracy?
System of government where people have the power.
What is the definition of a dictatorship?
A ruler who has complete control in a country.
What is the definition of communism?
A way of organising society where all property and money is owned by the community and is distributed depending upon “need”.
What is the definition of fascism?
An extreme right wing system of government with a powerful dictator, no political opposition is permitted.
What type of government did Britain have in the 1930s?
A democracy.
Give three examples of countries in dictatorships throughout the 1930s.
