The american movement to equal the gender differences. This shows how the Enlightenment spread to america and affected the activists during this time.

The american revolution was the rebuttal to the British attempt to take more control over their colonies in america, george washington was the president of america during this time and led america to defeating the British. This led to america finally having independence from britain.
Bolivar Revolution 5.2
Simone Bolivar led a revolution in an attempt to make all the South American countries into one. However he failed which led to the construction of multiple South American countries that exist today.
Classical Liberalism 5.2
Classical Liberalism was a political ideology constructed on the idea of a “free government” with a free market and economic freeness. John Stuart Mill was the biggest Activist for this ideology.
French Revolution 5.2
The French Revolution was caused because of the conditions in France and the unhappiness of citizens with these conditions. This brought upon the rapid spread of liberalism in France and Europe.
Haitian Revolution 5.2
A successful slave rebellion in haiti that was caused by activists that were Enlightened with the idea of equality, it was the only successful slavery rebellion in this time as slavery was abolished.
Nationalism 5.2
Strong pride that led to a community either wanting a stronger nation or a community wanting to become a nation. This is shown in Europe as they heavily colonized other countries due to their strong nationalism.
Causes of Industrialization 5.3
The Industrialization was caused by rapid increase in factories, manufacturers, and resources that became in high demand.

A labor system made in the first IR where women and children would work several hours a day with poor pay.

When a nation starts becoming more manufactured and economically powerful. Industrialization affected countries differently as some were heavily involved with it and some not so much

Fossil fuels were significantly helped the IR grow since there was a new resource for factories and industries to capitalize on
