What is emergency/humanitarian aid?
Emergency aid is rapid assistance given to people in immediate distress by individuals, organisations or governments to relieve suffering, during and after wars and natural disasters (floods, earthquakes and drought)
What is bilateral aid?
Aid given from the government of one country to the government of another country
What is multilateral aid?
Assistance provided by governments to international organisations like the WHO, United Nations and the World Bank. These organisations seek to reduce poverty in low and middle income nations.
