Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Its a document containing 30 rights that are rights for all humans no matter gender, race or ethnicity etc. Eleanor Roosevelt helped write this Bill in 1948. Today it has been translated into over 500 languages
United nations
An organization founded in 1945 after world war two to prevent something like that from ever happening again. There goal is to solve world humanitarian problems.
Pyramid of Hate
A visual aid to show the levels of discrimination and how they lead to each other. It starts with laughing at a hateful joke and ends genocide.
Indian Removal Act
This was an act committed in the states where Indian americans would be forced to leave their homes and walk thousands of miles to land no one was using.
Andrew Jackson
The president who was voted in to remove the Indians in missipi going above the courts order.
Trail of Tears
The letiral trail that the indains traveled on and it was called the trail of tears becuase lots of people died and where then burried in shallow graves on the side of the road.
Discrimination
Is an unfair treatment of a person or group based on their identity in schooling, work, housing, ect.
Predejuce
A negative attitude towards a particular person or group based on their identity.
Japenesse Internment Camps
The camps where all Japanese Americans were removed from their homes during world war and put into 10 camps housing thousands. What they brought with them is what they could carry and they ending up trying to create their own communities in the camps.
Franklen Delano Rosevelt
The current president when the peral harbor incident occurred. Was the president we think so greatly of but he was the president to sign the act 9066 putting the Jappanesse American citizens in the camps.
Attact on Peral Harbor
When america was currently not in the war and the Japanesse had a suprise attack. They sunk 8 battle ships and killed almost 2300 men in 2 hours. This is what put america into world war 2
Bias
Negative thoughts or ideas about sertain groups.
Scapgoating
Using unfair treatment on an entire group because of one person in that group.
Apartheid
Were the laws in South Africa the separated black people and white people. There were 148 laws for aparthied.
Segragation
Sepperating a group of people based on their identity.
Nelson Mandela
He was the first black president ever and before that he was a peacful protester but was setence to life at age 46 and served 27 years for his protesting.
F.W. De Klerk
The white prsident in 1989 who ended apartheid and the relased Nelson Mandela in 1990.
African National Congress
Was a group Nelsonmadela led to help end apartheild.
Political Cartoon
A comical image with captions and a title always putting across an opinion to persuade you based on the cartoonist thoughts.
Antisemitism
The discrimination towards Jewish people.
Patriotism
Being patriotic, or showing devotion to one’s country through dress decorations language and actions.
Nationalism
Someone so proud of their own country they take patriotism to far even to demean others country.
Treaty of Versailles
The treaty signed between Germany and the Allied Powers that officially ended World War I blaming Germany.
World War 1
Was the war in mid europe from 1914-1918. It was between the allied powers and the central powers. The allied powers won and the war killed millions. The war officially started when The duke of austria and his pregnant wife was assassinated. During the war many creations were made including blood banks, plastic surgery, chemical gas, ect.

The mass killing of 6 million Jews by the Nazi party
Genocide
The deliberate killing of a group of people based off ethnicity or nationality
Concentration Camp
A camp containing large numbers of prisoners.
Hate Crime
A great hatred towards a group as to cause someone to commit a crime.
The National Socialist German Workers Party
A political party active between 1920-1945. They supported the idea of nazism was otherwise known as the nazi party.
Adolf Hitler
The leader of the nazi party came into power after the war when the economy was beginning to look up the feel back down. went to jail once and had a heart attack.

The book written by adolf hitler about how to control the minds of his manipulatives.
Platform
A set of goals supported by a political party to please the public for the public’s votes.
Milgram Experiment
Was created to explain the horrors of the nazi thought processes. It is an fake experiment that uses real people.

The dictator of Syria came into power when his father died. He is a cruel dictator who bombed his own country to kill off his people.
Refugee
Someone who leaves their country because of a crisis a happening.
Refugee camp
A camp for refugees to stay are usually very crowd and are on the boarders.
Barrel Bombs
old fuel barres filled with explosive and piece of scrape metal to kill more people quicker
Holy City
It is a city sacred to a certain religion
Gaza Strip
An area that is extremely poor, lacking supplies, and depended on assisting countries. The people in control do not want to negotiate or take any plan.
West Bank
An area without such a bad crisis, they have there problems but food and necessities are available. This group is willing to negotiate.
Political Party
A group of people with similar political goals. The main objective is to get candidates into office.
Uighur/Uyghur
They are a group of nomadic turkic people native to northwest china. 12 million live in china and turkey.
Sanction
A way from a government to ban things.
Xinjiang
This is an area in northwest china
Han Chinese People
The largest ethnic group in china. It originated in the Han dynasty. They speak mandarin.

The process of stopping people from having children
