A

His belief in God was one of disbelief and made his outlook on life poor and saddened, even though he said he believed there was no God however he blamed God for everything that happened in his life and what was wrong with the world. He also had the belief that God is the source of ‘love’ or ‘joy’ and that God provides that ‘joy’ for humans even in times of suffering (obtained from his meeting with Joy and his marriage to her). Though time wavered between the belief in God as good and God as cruel.
