- Contingency
a future event or circumstance that is possible but cannot be predicted with certainty.
- Deliverable
a thing able to be provided, especially as a product of a development process.
- Execute
to carry out or to put into effect a plan, order, or course of action.
- Gantt Chart
a chart in which a series of horizontal lines shows the amount of work done or production completed in certain periods of time in relation to the amount planned for those periods.
- Initiate
to cause a process or action to begin
- Mitigation
the action of reducing the severity, seriousness, or painfulness of something.
- Monitor
to watch, keep track of, or check usually for a special purpose.
- Performance management
an ongoing process or communication between team members that occurs throughout a project or schedule in support of accomplishing the strategic objectives of the organization or a specific project

a part of project management, relates to the use of schedules such a Gantt Charts to plan and subsequently report progress within the project environment; initially the project scope is defined and the appropriate methods for completing the projects are determined.

a measure of the quantity of something rather than its quality, typically numerical or captured using a scale.
