Human Rights
Rights so basic that they belong to all humans
Common Law
Laws that are based on rulings made by judges in court cases

Action or policy showing prejudice against or in favor of a person or group of people

Laws that protect your rights in offenses against the public or society.

Laws that protect private rights

people whose ancestry is mixed first nation and european

act or process of examining a crime, problem, statement etc.

Privileges that are granted and guaranteed by government legislation
Responsibilities
Obligations that go past legal duties including type of behavior that shows respect for rights of others
Freedoms
Privileges so basic they can’t be restricted by laws of government

What sentences can a person charged under the YCJA get?
Community service, discharge with/without conditions, a fine, , compensation or restitution of victims, community service, probation, intensive support and supervision in community
The main purpose of the senate
Provide representation for regional provincial and minority interests.
