First-Past-The-Post Electoral System
First past the post is a voting system where no matter what the magority wins. Even if less then half the people vote for one party, as long as the party with even the slightest majority has the most votes they win. For example if 2/5 of the people vote green and 1/5 each vote for black, purple and blue, even though the combined votes of black purple and blue equal more, the green still has the most percentage of votes
