A basic right (such as the right to be treated well or the right to vote) that many societies believe every person should have.
Human right
A person who speaks out for, argues for or supports a cause or group.
Advocate
A person who uses or supports strong actions (such as public protests) to help make changes in politics or society.
Activist
A series of activities designed to produce a particular result.
Campaign
An often unfair and untrue belief that many people have about all people or things with a particular characteristic.
Stereotype
An unfair feeling of dislike for a person or group because of race, sex, religion, etc.
Prejudice
To treat (someone) cruelly or unfairly especially because of race or religious or political beliefs.
Persecute
To unfairly treat a person or group of people differently from other people or groups.
Discriminate
To take away, interfere with, or ignore (something, such as a person’s rights or privacy) in an unfair or illegal way.
Violate
Dishonest or illegal behavior especially by powerful people (such as government officials or police officers).
Corruption
A tendency to believe that some people, ideas, etc., are better than others that usually results in treating some people unfairly.
Bias
The use of violent acts to frighten the people to try to achieve a political goal.
Terrorism
Generous and friendly treatment of visitors and guests, such as offering food and drinks, etc.
Hospitality
To plan or want to do (something): to have (something) in your mind as a purpose or goal.
Intend
To state or show that (something) is true or correct.
Confirm
