Why is ICT useful?
Businesses can use it to exchange information with their stakeholders.
What may businesses use to communicate with stakeholders?

What is the differecne between intranet extranet?
Intranet - private communication, accessible by the business’s employees.
Extranet - private communication, accessible by selected stakeholders.
What is E-commerce?
Electronic commerce, happens when goods and services are sold using an electronic system like internet.
Give examples of E-commerce
Advertising, Auctions, Electronic payments, Bookings, Purchases, Internet banking, Shopping, Websites, Text messaging, E-mail, Mobile apps, Social networking, Contactless transactions.
What is M-commerce?
It is part of E-commerce, but involves using hand held wireless devices. Mobile commerce.
What is digital communication?
Any use of laptops, tablets, smartphones to transfer information.
Give examples of digital communication.
Email, Text, Live chat on websites, Social media, Apps, Facetime.
Give an advantage of digital communication.
Businesses have more contact with customers than they previously were able to, which has led them to be able to make complaints, ask questions and place orders.
Why do many companies hold online shareholder meetings?
Some people may not have been able to attend the meetings and so hosting them online, it means that people don’t need to travel anywhere as they will have access to a device to be in the meeting.
