Quarter rest?
Rhythm worth 1 beat of silence.
4/4 time signature?
Four beats per measure/ Quarter note is worth one beat
Interval?
Distance between two pitches.
Melodic intervals (unison to octave)?
Two Pitches of an interval are played independently.
Unison (two pitches are the same pitch), 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, octave (two pitches are eight spaces away from each other).
Harmonic intervals (unison to octave)?
Two pitches of an interval are played simultaneously.

Dynamic?
Symbols that indicate the volume of the music.
Piano?
Dynamic symbol which indicates a soft volume (p)
Mezzo forte?
Dynamic symbol which indicates a moderately lou volume (mf).
Forte?
Dynamic symbol which indicates loud volume (f).

Rhythm worth 2 beats of silence.
Tied notes?
(Difference between TIED/SLURRED notes, they look the same!)Two pitches connected by a curved line- these connected pitches are the same pitch/note! Played on the piano by combining the rhythm of two pitches- quarter note tied to a quarter note is played for same length as a half note!
Slurred notes?
Two pitches connected by a curved line- these connected pitches are different pitches/notes! Played on the piano by connecting the notes with as little separation as possible!
3/4 time signature?
Three beats in a measure/Quarter note is worth one beat.
Dotted half note?
Half note with a dot after it-worth three beats of sound.
