Proton
Uncharged particle in the nucleus of an atom
Neutron
Negatively charged particles surrounding the atomic nucleus
Electron
The positively charged center of an atom which contains protons and neutrons
Nucleus
organized list in which elements are arranged in rows and columns according to their atomic number and their patterns of similar properties
Periodic Table
International symbol for each element consisting of 1 or 2 letters
Chemical Symbol
The number of protons in each atom of an element
