Parietal bone
A
- An even bone
- Curved like a concave tile towards the inside of the skull
- They form the side walls and roof of the cranial vault and articulate with each other in the midline in the sagittal suture
- Articulate with occipital bone in the lambdoid suture

A
Parts:
* Scaly portion: it is the most flattened part of the bone
* Mastoid region: posterior portion
* Boulder or petrous portion
