Emotions
Signals that tell your mind and body how to react
Empathy
The ability to imagine and understand how another person feels
Sympathy
Feeling sorrow, compassion, or pity for the hardships that another person encounters
Stress
The reaction of the body and mind to every day challenges and demands
Stressor
Anything that causes stress
Psychosomatic response
Physical reaction that results from stress rather than from injury or illness
Chronic Stress
Stress associated with long term problems that are beyond a person’s control
Anxiety
Condition of feeling uneasy or worried about what MAY happen
Fear
Uneasiness + worried feelings due to a present threat
Depression
Prolonged feeling of hopelessness, helplessness, and sadness
Resiliency
The ability to adapt effectively and recover from disappointment, difficulty and crisis

A disorder that is caused by a physical illness, or an injury to the brain
Functional Disorder Cause
A disorder that is psychologically-tied to:
- Disturbing events
- Childhood trauma
- Severe stress
- One’s negative environment

Suicide due to pressure from those talking about you + interacting with you in a negative way
