Where voters choose the leaders from the list of candidates chosen during the primaries. (main election)
General Election
A group of people who represent others at a conference or a meeting. (Nominating convention)
Delegates
Vote by the citizens of the country
Popular Vote
A member of the electoral college
Elector
Group of people in America who elect the President and Vice-President
Electoral College
A statement of the party’s views and policies on important issues (the party’s goals for the next four years)
Platform
The individual parts of a platform
Plank
Practice of voting for every candidate the party is running at the general election
