What is the beep test
The beep test is a standardised fitness test that measures your level of CRE
How do you set up the beep test
To set the beep test you beed to find a hall with a flat surface that is dry and hasn’t got a wind flow. Then you need to get a measuring tape and measure 20 metres along the area placing cones along the hall on each end. Then you need to get a speaker and connect it the the device with the beep test audio.
How do you carry it out
You start by warming up before the beep test starts. Then you line up along the cones at one end of the hall and start when you hear the first beep.
How do you achieve a result and what do you do with it?
To achieve a result, you have to get one for over the opposite line, either on the beep or before. Then wait for the next beep to go before running back. If you don’t get one foot over the line twice in a row you’re out. You then have to record which should be the last time your foot went over the line.
What is a PPW
PPW stands for performance profiling wheel, and we use it to collect data on the social factor.
