The measure of total population relative to land size.
Define arithmetic population density.
The population of a country or region expressed as an average per unit area. The figure is derived by dividing the population of the areal unit by the number of square kilometers or mile that make up the unit.
Define population distribution.
Descriptions of locations on the earth’s surface where individuals or groups (depending on the scale) live. Geographers often represent population distribution on dot maps.
What is physiologic population density?
The number of people per unit area of agriculturally productive land.
What are dot maps?
One dot represents a certain number of a population.
What is an arable land?
Farmable
What is a megalopolis?
Such huge urban agglomerations.
